Re-Plan and Start Again
So Hyrox didn't happen, the injuries (upper back, rhomboid/levator scapulae, and elbow ligaments) did not heal sufficently. I could have toughed it out and got through it, but that may well have wrecked fitness for a while. All you can do in a situation like this is re-plan. First take a step back and come up with a rehab plan, for me the rehab is upper body, so while I do that I can concentrate on lower body endurance and ironing out strength and flexibility asymmetries.
