How Did I Get Here?

At 64, I bring not just years of experience in fitness, but also the perspective of a life well-lived. My journey has included injuries, setbacks, and challenges — and it’s through overcoming these that I’ve developed a deep understanding of what it truly takes to stay active, healthy, and motivated over the long term. I know first-hand that fitness isn’t always about chasing personal bests — sometimes it’s about recovery, rebuilding confidence, and finding sustainable ways to move well. My philosophy is simple: it’s never too late to get stronger, fitter, and more resilient.

My Approach

  • Empathy & Patience – I understand the frustrations of injury and the challenges of ageing, so I tailor sessions to meet you exactly where you are.

  • Functional Fitness Focus – Training designed to make everyday life easier, reduce risk of injury, and build confidence in movement.

  • Safe, Sustainable Progression – No quick fixes. Instead, I guide you toward steady improvements that last.

  • Motivation Through Experience – I’ve walked the path of starting over, and I’ll help you do the same with encouragement and accountability.
