What I want to do is prevent what people see as the inevitable slide into a sedentary life as they get older. We do not have to be faced with many of the problems of older age such as increased weight, loss of muscle and strength, loss of stability and balance, high blood pressure, an ever increasing list of medication. These things can be within our control; with the correct training, diet and mindset you can maintain an active life into your 80's and beyond.

I have a lifetime of training behind me, its changed as I've got older, I've overcome illness such as asthma and chronic fatigue syndrome. I know what people need as life changes to maintain health and vitality.

I have recently overcome another problem, long covid. Having recovered from chronic fatigue syndrome many years vago the last thing I expected was a repeat. Now I am fit again my career as a personal trainer can begin.

           POSTURAL ASSESSMENT AND CORRECTIVE EXERCISE 

 

The BioMechanics Method is specifically designed to teach you how to address common musculoskeletal imbalances through the use of corrective exercise. I will assess clients for musculoskeletal imbalances that can cause muscle dysfunction, joint discomfort and movement limitations and explains how to use corrective exercise to remedy those problems simply and effectively.

Do you want to be a proper Hyrox athlete? As a level 1 Hyrox coach I can get you to the next level in Hyrox. Take a structured approach based on an assessment of strengths and weaknesses, this is much more than just taking Hyrox classes, this is real athletic training.

I started Pilates when I was recovering from long covid and found it very useful for regaining strength and energy. Core strength and posture becomes more important as we age. Pilates is a great adjunct to other forms of exercise, or you can just improve strength and posture with Pilates alone. Pilates is one of the safest and most effective ways to rebuild strength, improve posture, and restore confidence in movement.Whether your goal is to move without pain, improve balance, or feel stronger in everyday life, Pilates provides a safe and structured path forward.
